Blog-iary: Looks Can Tell Part 1

Danny Lessons
Today wasn’t what I expected. I learned a few lessons, gain four friends and I now have conversed. Yay. Anyway, it all started this morning around 8am when Danny called me.
“Yellow!” I said.
“Ello governor, are you ready to start your next lessons on popularity?” He said.
“What?”
“We’re starting our first, well second, lesson on becoming ‘popular’. We did make a promise that I would help you become popular.”
“I know, I know, but do we really have to do it at this time?”
“Yes, popularity wait for no one!”
“Well can you ask it to wait?”
“Ok,” He goes silent for a bit.
“it said you’re a lazy bone and then started to speed up.” he said in his usual voice, but it sounded like he was mocking me in a way.
“Well then.” I said, cranky like.
“Meet me at the Wheaton Eastfield Mall, where the Macy’s is.”
“Fine then. What time?”
“11 Am.”
“Fine.” I said.

I took a shower and got my breakfast together. I was usually the last person to have breakfast in the house. Everyone else (my parents) normally had weekend plans that lasted the entire day. From what I’m aware of, my Mom had classes and my Dad had some tournaments. This normally left the entire house to myself meaning I could write some stuff (an entire or advice) for the blog or spend large amounts of time on exploring the internet (mostly on YouTube). It’s nice being alone in the house, but it can get a bit gloomy.
I started packing my stuff in my book bag which included Fifty dollars, my tablet & keyboard, phone (my PRECIOUS Samsung), Sour Patch gum and my notebook. I was all ready to go, but I still had two hours left. I decided to write a follow-up to my last entry. Towards the end of my writing session, I noticed it was time to catch the bus. So I went to my tablet and checked the next bus, but I had two minutes so I quickly grab my bag and ran like the wind (faster than me on track day). Luckily, I was able to catch to the bus, but got to the mall a few minutes late. Grrreeaaaattt.

There, Danny and I had met up and he saids we needed to go to the Shoe Department for what I was guessing to be related to lesson.
"So how does this correlate with getting or being popular?" I asked when were walking towards the store.
"You'll learn later on."
"Ok?" I said though I was confused.
"Just know that shoes and clothes matter in such away".
"What?"
Once we got to the Shoe Department, Danny said to find shoes I'd like to wear,so I went to the polo area and tried finding shoes that were sort of like the ones I'd normally wear. Danny came up to me and looked at the pair I wanted to get.
"So you like  you polo's?" he asked.
"Well, I like it a bit and find it tolerable." I said.
"Then why buy it?"
"Because they're shoes..."
The real reason I wear them was because they were comfortable didn't give that much attention (they weren't flashy and not that much people at Wood wear it.)
"Well, yeah, but why not buy your favorite shoe brand then?"
"I don't know."
My favorite brand were converses mainly because of the design. I normally didn't get them because of the price of them and they aren't that common at Wood (at least for last year).
"Well, what's your favorite shoe brand?
"Con-verse?" I said, a bit uncertain mainly because I felt like Danny might do something weird about it.
"Then buy it."
"I don't have that much money, only 50 dollars..."
"Don't worry, I'll buy it."
"Wait, really?" I said, surprised.
"Yeah, I have a bunch of money left over."
And so, I go over towards the converse section and tried picking out some hightops. I saw green hightops which was  just what I needed (well not need but they were perfect for me). I took the box while Danny had taken some Nikes. Once we got out, I asked Danny why we got shoes.
"Lesson two, Happiness equals confidence which is important whether through clothing. Do you really think giving in to clothing fads will that a wide amount of populars just happen to be part of it is gonna make you popular.
"Noooo?" I said in a 'I-already-know-that' tone.
"Oh, yooou probably already know that. Anyway, we got to go to lesson 3... or is 2?"
"Lesson 3? Why are we having another one so quickly?" But before I could finish, Danny dragged me to the escalator.
"First off, we're going to have multiple lessons because one, this is the  mall and malls are where tons of life lessons are learned and if not, they should be learned at this place of wonder." Danny said very dramatically to the sky (or ceiling, whatever), clenching his fist to in the air. He stayed like that for a bit.
"Calm down there, Shakespeare." I responded.
"And two, it frees up my time meaning I  get to spend more weekends hanging out with you."
"Ehaha." I responded, nervously. I'm not sure if I want to spend a weekend  with a person that sets up lunch concerts and  drags me off escalators so we can get a mini choo-choo train (yes, they are real and there's one inside the mall).
"Now let me introduce you to your next lesson."  Danny said.
"MEEE!!" said a girl around our age that happened to be in the cart (or whatever you call it) in front of us.
"And who would you be?"  I asked.
"Ello governor,  I'm Jen Dinkley, number one shipper/ matchmaker/ the biggest 'geek' at Wood." She said, putting her hand out so I could shake it though I shake her hand like an appalled teenager a 90's sitcom.
"Anyway, Lesson Three: The Geekoning!" she said, waving her hands (well it was more like jazz hands).
"I thought it was How To Geek?" Danny said.
"Well that sounded boring, The Geekoning sounds cooler."
"Whatever, can we start this lesson now?"
"OHKay! So, Dan? That's your name right?" I shook my head yes.
"Sooo Dan! What show do you think populars like?"
"Basketball. Sports. Any old TV show that's Nostalgic. Maybe Pretty Little Liars."
"Correct! And yet... WRONG." She then hopped off the train. What was that for? I wondered.
A few minutes later train stops and we get off.
"Who was she?" I said.
"A friend I recently made." Danny replied.
"Recently?"

Apparently, she was one of the two girls who howled during our lunch performance. Her and Danny became friends shortly after and having been frequently texting each other since. I’m not surprised because she looked like and acted just like Danny. She even wore a Plain Arrows T-shirt but it was pointed a different direction than him and was two sizes too big for her too. The only difference was that it was blue but of course it was blue mainly because she was completely covered in blue from head to toe. She had big navy blue glasses that would make a hipster blush. She also have blue vans and light fade blue pants.

This took a while to be made butI FINALLY published it. Well, I published part one becuse I still haveto type up the rest of the story. The full verison will be posted sometime tomorrow. I didn't want to disappoint you guys so that's why this is coming out super late at night.
